Back in the Boat is an entertainment show about Steamboat Springs and the valley around it. It is not a history documentary. Each episode lands in one of four categories, and we rotate through them.

What we do
- Tell true stories, and tell them well.
- Source what we say, and mark what we could not confirm.
- Correct our mistakes in the open.
- Give real people the credit when their story is theirs.
What we don’t do
- Lecture. This is a show, not a classroom.
- Read you a textbook.
- Trade in gossip or settle old scores.
- Speak for anyone else’s culture or experience.
